We have GREAT news for you!
The Doorbell Rang this morning... it was UPS.
I had an unexpected delivery.
The package read "We have GREAT news for you!".
Wow, was it Christmas already?? I quickly opened it up.
My Loan Servicer has put together a Loan Modification Agreement for yours truly.
The Details of said Agreement:
a $0 Dollar Reduction from the Principle,
a Reduced Interest Rate to 5% Fixed for...... 40 YEARS.
LMAO
you gotta love these guys...

Suddenly okay at Ballroom...
Back in March, i neglected to mention that i started taking Ballroom classes at my gym.
It's a once week affair, where i get to learn the basics.

Nation-wide Chains NOT located within Detroit
The city i live in has an unfortunate Stigma.
There are many factors that have contributed to this Reality over the decades. One of the factors (in my opinion) is that its Residents are predominantly Black. This Country was Founded on a Mindset that Stigmatized being Black. Two Centuries later, although greatly diminished, this mindset still exists in our society.
In the past 10 years, i believe this Stigma has begun shifting over to Muslims (but that's a separate discussion).
Today i have begun compiling a list of Nation-wide Chains that are Not located within the city of Detroit, Michigan.
You will, however, find these Chains in the surrounding suburbs...
Best Buy
Bed Bath & Beyond
Burlington Coat Factory
Costco
Kohl's
Kroger
Lowes
Marshalls/ TJ Maxx
Office Depot
OfficeMax
Pier 1 Imports
PetsCo
Sam's Club
Sports Authority
The Gap, Inc.
Walmart

+6 months
Operation Bailout has been in effect for +6 months now.
Much progress has been made.
I have procured my new place of Residence (paid for via CASH).
Now comes the part where i tell the Bank to SUCK IT.
I have to admit:
The thought of Owning my Home (free and clear) & being completely Debt-Free...
makes me Quite Giddy.
This is something that everyone should experience.
Regarding Home Loans:
30-Year Mortgages are for Suckers.
They need to be Outlawed (or at least highly discouraged).
The Balloon Payment Model needs to be eliminated as well.
In my opinion, these types of lending practices suck the wealth out of the lower & middle class. How they ever became an accepted and standard practice is beyond me. In my opinion, a twisted form of indentured servitude.

And that's when it hit me:
We Celebrate the Death of 'Bin Laden'
in the Same Way that
Our Enemies Celebrate the Death of 'Americans'.
its just a Continuous Cycle of Violence...

139 !!
I've started going Bowling for 2011.
And i Must admit...
it's been pretty damn Fun.
Last night was a Career Night!
i threw down a "Double" (two consecutive Strikes) which was a First. And i finished the Game with a 139 score
(which is amazing once you know my average is only 79)!!
